I have nothing against your art, I just found it accidentally while randomly surfing DA. But you know what? Every Russian, even if he can't speak any foreign language, can read Latin letters. Some Cyrillic letters are completely the same as Latin, some of them look alike Latin letters but are pronounced differently. And so when I see any inscription made using faux Cyrillic, like this one, I feel like my eyes were fucked, and I suppose every Russian feels so. It's so much harder to decipher the words when your brain tries to read every letter in two different ways. By the way, if I try to read these inscriptions like they are Cyrillic, any of them would sound very funny, rough and hard or impossible to pronounce.
No offence intended, I just wanted to share my sensation =)

Thank you for your feedback! It means a lot. This piece was done a -very- long time ago and my style has completely changed since then. Either way, it's always nice to hear community feedback. In fact your response was rather educational too. :D

No, it's purposely written in english - but the font used has a distinct russian theme too it.

of course! that's why the theme at hand is tied during World War II, when Russia was known as USSR.

ahh, this isnt bad, but the stroke around the soldier just doesnt work. The rifle on the top right is a little overdone imo, otherwise cool.
